G. Consideration and approval of the second proposed Resolution 2026-08 that would establish a
one hundred twenty (120) day moratorium on the acceptance, processing, consideration, and
approval of new annexation petitions or requests seeking to annex property into the municipal
limits of the City of Hampton. The purpose of this moratorium is to allow the City to evaluate
annexation policies, service delivery capacity, infrastructure impacts, and long-term growth and
planning objectives before accepting and approving additional annexations.
H. Consideration and approval of the first proposed Resolution 2026-09 that would establish a one
hundred twenty (120) day moratorium on the acceptance, processing, review, and approval of
new data center-related zoning and development applications and associated development
permits within the City of Hampton. The purpose of this moratorium is to allow the City to
evaluate public infrastructure and service capacity and consider potential amendments to the
City's zoning and land use regulations applicable to data center uses.
I.
Consideration and Action to approve the Special E vent application to allow alcohol service at a
private event on February 131\ 2026, at the Catherine Williams Community Center.
J. Council Discussion and/or Approval on Resolution 2026-14 for the purpose of submitting
and advancing legislation to state legislators to establish a 100% homestead ad valorem
tax exemption within the corporate limits of the City of Hampton and to have it placed
on the November 2026 ballot for voter consideration.
K. Council discussion regarding the expired terms and process for selection of new members
to the City of Hampton Board(S) committees, and authorities. This item will include
consideration of appointments necessary to ensure each body is properly staffed,
supported, and aligned with the City Council's policy direction and governance
responsibilities.
L. Consideration and action to approve esolution 2026- 16 to Censure the Mayor.
M. Consideration and action of esolution No. 2026-15 for the purchase and sale of real property
between North Bay Avalon, LLLP (Seller) and the City of Hampton (Buyer) for+/- 16.37 acres
located at Parcel ID Nos. 022-01054000 and 022-01052012 Hampton, GA 30228, zoned DT-MU
(Downtown Mixed-Use) District.
