The regular meeting of the Planning Board will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026
1. Recommendation to the Zoning Board of Appeals for Mary and Shawn McNally, 395
River Road, Youngstown; Tax Map 59.18-1-48 for a home occupation Special Use Permit
to operate a lawn care business from their home (Jack McNally (son) DBA The Leaf
Thief, registered in Niagara County.
2. Recommendation to the Zoning Board of Appeals for Keith and Penelope Pollak, 3895
River Road; Tax Map 73.06-1-1 for renewal of a Special Use Permit for boat docks on the
west side of River Road in the Niagara River.
3. Recommendation to Zoning Board of Appeals for Joshua Smith’s Special Use Permit
renewal, property is located 3880 Dickersonville Rd, Ransomville, NY 14131, Tax map #
61.00-2-29 for a Firearms sale and transfer Home Occupation business.
4. Preliminary/Informal presentation from RIC Energy regarding a Battery Energy storage
System proposed for 1292 Balmer Road, Porter ESS LLC applicant/owner (Brandon
Lindke).
5. Discussion regarding consideration for adopting/amending local laws to allow for Event
Centers/Banquet Centers townwide.
6. Discussion regarding consideration for amending Local Law to regulate Data Centers in
the town of Porter.
