Credit where it's due: Danks and Mr. LetGo know they're being ridiculous, and the Ellison-Altman-Musk-UAE cameo really does read like a fever dream once you say it out loud. We're not here to fact-check a bit that's built for laughs, not literalism.
But strip away the little green men and the joke lands closer to home than it sounds. Somebody real is signing the permits, locking in the tax abatements, and deciding whose watershed gets drained to cool a server farm nobody in town asked for. The "GPU minutes as the new oil barrel" line is funnier than most policy briefings, yet it's not far off from how utilities are actually pricing grid upgrades that ratepayers end up covering.
