Ordinance No. 863 — A formal Planning Commission recommendation to the
Town Council for the adoption of a temporary moratorium on the application for,
approval of, construction of, expansion of, or processing of, or issuance of
building permits for the operation of emerging technologies commonly known as
"data processing" centers, "data mining" centers or "data centers" (collectively,
"Data Centers") within the Town of Easton for a period of twelve (12) months
pending consideration and adoption of revised Zoning Ordinance provisions as
the Town Council may consider advisable to promote the public health, safety
and welfare.
