Mac’s Landing has applied for an appeal request to the Board of Commissioners on the
decision voted on by the Planning and Zoning Commission on July 21, 2026 to deny a
variance request. The request was for a variance to Section 6.7 Required improvement
schedules (Pedestrian ways). The property is located on Alford Road, Tax Parcel No. 110
000034 000.

2.

Causie Contracting, Inc., has submitted an application to rezone approximately 3.60 acres
from R-25 (Residential 25,000 sq. ft.) to HC (Highway Commercial) for the purpose of
operating a contractor office. The property is located on Highway 80 East, Tax Parcel No. 107
000023 003.

Causie Contracting, Inc., has submitted an application for a conditional use to operate a
contractor office. The property is located on U.S. Highway 80 East, Tax Parcel No. 107

services the week of 9/7 - 9/11

Approve a contract with Smith Aquatics for $85,626.00 for the refurbishment of the therapy
pool at Splash in the Boro.

5.

Approve a Resolution authorizing acceptance of Carlton Lane in Carlton Oaks Subdivision

6.

Approve the appointment of Lisa Jones to the Coastal Workforce Development Board for a
term of 3-years from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2029

7.

Approve the appointment of Ashley Price to the Library Board for a term of 3-years from July
1, 2026 through June 30, 2029

8.

Approve a contract with Astra Group, LLC in the amount of $445,800.00 to provide
construction services for FY27-ENGCP-001-2 Metts Road Drainage & Road Repairs Project.
The cost of this work will be funded by DCA and TSPLOST.

9.

Approve a New Relocation Agreement between Georgia Power Company and Bulloch County
in the amount of $190,944.00 for the relocation of GPC facilities on FY26-CP-E10 Hightower
Road & Josh Smith Road Paving Project. The cost of this work will be funded by TSPLOST.

10. Approve a Task Order from AECOM, FY27-CEI-E01 Task Order-Metts Road Drainage &
Road Repairs to provide comprehensive PM & CEI services, with a not-to-exceed amount of
$100,000.00 during the construction period of the Metts Road Drainage & Road Repairs
Project. The cost of these services will be funded through a grant provided by the Georgia
Department of Community Affairs and TSPLOST funds.
11. Approve a Task Order from AECOM, FY27-CEI-E02 GW Oliver Bridge to provide
comprehensive PM & CEI services, with a not-to-exceed amount of $225,000.00, during the
construction period of the GW Oliver Road New Bridge Construction Project. The cost of
these services will be funded through FEMA reimbursement, GEMA reimbursement, and
TSPLOST funds.
12. Motion to approve a Task Order from AECOM, FY27-CEI-E03 Cypress Lake Rd Bridge
Replacement to provide comprehensive PM & CEI services, with a not-to-exceed amount of
$225,000.00 during the construction period of the Cypress Lake Road Bridge Replacement
Project. The cost of these services will be funded through GDOT FY2025 LRA/Supplemental
LMIG and TSPLOST funds.
