1. Request approval to purchase a replacement Cisco wireless controller, 16 access points, and
three years of licensing from Data Center Warehouse for $33,107.88. The wireless system
currently operating in St. Clair County facilities is nearing end of life and requires
replacement. The proposed solution supports Wi-Fi 7 technology and multigigabit
connectivity up to 10 gigabits per second.
2. Request approval to purchase a replacement Cisco firewall from Data Center Warehouse for
$75,211.17. The existing firewall, which protects the St. Clair County network, is at end of
life and requires replacement. The proposed device is Cisco’s recommended replacement for
our current system and is expected to provide approximately 7-9 years of service.
