PLAN COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING
September 1, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. immediately following the BZA Meeting
Meeting held at the Jefferson County EMA Building, Troy D. Morgan
Public Safety Center, 620 Green Road, Madison, IN, 47250
1. Roll Call
2. Determination of a Quorum
3. Consideration of meeting minutes from May 6, 2026
4. Communications: None
5. New Business: Data Center Moratorium Request Presentations
from the following applicants: Elijah Chandler, Janice Kleopfer,
Cherie Rike, Tanya Hess, Jill Koren, and Mary Hansen. Please
note that this is a Regular Plan Commission meeting, not a Public
Hearing nor a public question and answer session thus, the Plan
Commission does not plan to hear public comment at this time.
Members of the public, not on the agenda, wishing to address the
Plan Commission members on the Data Center Moratorium issue,
are encouraged to submit their comments in writing by August
24" but are welcome to do so at any time. Please email to
