PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
July 8, 2026

AGENDA
1. Call meeting to order
2. Roll Call
3. Approval of the minutes of the June 10, 2026 meeting.
4. The Plan Commission will consider a temporary two (2) year development moratorium
on the acceptance, processing, and approval of all applications, permits, and
approvals related to the development, construction, or operation of data centers within
the incorporated areas and unincorporated areas of the City of Washington, Indiana.
The purpose of the proposed temporary development moratorium is to allow adequate
time to study and address the potential impacts of data centers and to develop
appropriate regulations to ensure their responsible development and operation. It will
also provide sufficient time for such considerations to be incorporated into revisions to
the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance.
