Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of Eliot, Maine is expected to
hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM for the following:
a) Proposed Town Code Amendments of Chapter 1 - General Provisions, Chapter 33 - Planning
and Development, and Chapter 45 - Zoning, Related to Compliance with State Laws and
Implementation of Comprehensive Plans Recommendations on Housing.
b) Proposed Town Code Amendments of Chapter 1 - General Provisions, Chapter 44 - Shoreland
Zoning and Chapter 45 - Zoning Related to Data Centers and Conformance with State Laws on
Public Utilities.
c) Proposed Town Code Amendments of Chapter 1 - General Provisions, Chapter 41 -
Subdivisions, and Chapter 45 - Zoning, Establishing a Reserve Area for Subsurface
Wastewater Disposal System, Replacement and Maintenance Reporting for Engineered and
Shared Subsurface Disposal Systems.
Interested persons may be heard and written communication received regarding the proposed
ordinance amendments at this public hearing. The proposed ordinance amendments are
available for review at Eliot Town Hall, 1333 State Road Eliot, ME 03903. More information
