ROADS

a-Road Report-Supervisor Schneider-no road inspection
b-248 Ave Ditch repair-Supervisor Schneider
With the construction on County Road 157, Jeremy Kollman requested to have gravel from the
project dumped in his ditches on the north end of 248th Avenue. At this time the gravel has been
dumped near the corner sign which will not allow equipment to access the approach. He is
requesting we move the corner sign. Supervisor Schneider will research the request.
248 Avenue Ditch wash out
The ditch under 248 Avenue still has a wash out and will need to be repaired. At this time Mr.
Geise has not returned Supervisor Schneider’s calls.

Sunnybrook Ent: Leo Gerads: St. Anna Drive needs gravel on east end to match the tar and near
the corner that was worked on last year.
ACTION: A motion to have Kotzer haul in Gravel to the needed area on St Anna Drive was made by
Supervisor Stueve, seconded by Supervisor Schneider, motion carried.
Supervisor Stueve will contact Kotzer Excavating.

improvements in the amount of $12,398.56 was made by Supervisor Stueve, seconded by Supervisor

d-Sand Lake Road update
The opening of bids occurred on July 1, with the following two bids received:
Knife River $681,712.35
Craig Bardson Excavating $784,117.12

ACTION: A motion to approve Resolution 2026-18 approving the bid for the Sand Lake Road
improvements to go to Knife River for $681,712.35 was made by Supervisor Stueve, seconded by
Supervisor Gerads, motion carried, unanimously.
There was some discussion about lowering the culvert by Warren Atkinson, (33388 Sand Lake Road). This
project is not currently involved in the plans. Engineer Mathison does not see any advantage to lowering
the culvert. There is potential for a dip if we lower the culvert. The decision was made to leave it, culvert
is in good condition. No signs of wear. Who will it impact upstream and downstream? Jeremy will check
culvert again.
Engineer Mathison will notify us of the preconstruction meeting. The project may start in the middle of
August.
There will be a final Assessment hearing later this fall.
e. Jason Murray-Bonding for Sand Lake Road improvements
Mr Murray informed us of the procedure to take when taking out a bond for road improvements.

Letters will need to be sent to the following residents:
