Kayla Lappin, Economic Development Coordinator requesting Council of Commissioners
permission to schedule a presentation on September 9, 2026, from REC Silicon Inc. regarding an
update about their Butte operations.

Karen Hassler, Finance & Budget Director requesting Council of Commissioners permission to
schedule a public hearing on August 5, 2026, for the adoption of the Fscal Year 2027 Final
Budget and establish the user rates for Storm Water System, Solid Waste Disposal, and Lighting
and Fire Hydrant Districts.
2.COMMUNICATION NO. 2026-367
Karen Hassler, Finance & Budget Director requesting Council of Commissioners permission to
schedule a public hearing on August 12, 2026, to establish user rates for Metro Sewer. The
public hearing will begin on August 12, 2026, and be continued until the Council of
Commissioners sets a date to adopt the Fisal Year 2027 Final budget and fix the rate.

Cory Biggers, 65 Oro Fino Gulch requesting Council of Commissioners authorization to purchase
land owned by BSB which directly borders his primary residence located at 65 Oro Fino Gulch
Road, to clean up, secure and actively utilize the land.
4.COMMUNICATION NO. 2026-410
Russell O’Leary, Commissioner District 5 requesting a legal review of the contracts between
Municipal Parking Services, INC. and Butte-Silver Bow (deployment and operation of safety
sticks) for compliance with state and federal law.

Roxzan Spolar, 2023 S. Wyoming Street, Butte MT requesting Council of Commissioners
consideration to purchase property owned by Butte-Silver Bow, known as Mammoth Park. The
property has been deemed surplus property in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and the Board
has recommended selling the property.
6.COMMUNICATION NO. 2026-432
Sean Keuch, 103 Sutter Street, Butte MT requesting Council of Commissioners authorization to
purchase the vacant lot located south of 103 Sutter Street owned by Butte-Silver Bow so that he
could park two cars in the area as the street is very narrow.
7.COMMUNICATION NO. 2026-434
Shanna Adams, Uptown BID Chair requesting Council of Commissioners permission to schedule
a presentation on September 16, 2026, for the BID Annual Work Plan and Budget. Resolution
2026-54 will also be introduced as an amendment to Resolution 2024-61 with a public hearing to
be scheduled on September 23, 2026.

Will O’Connor, Land Record Coordinator requesting Council of Commissioners permission to
schedule a public hearing on September 16, 2026, for Petition No. 2026-01. This petition has
been approved by the Public Works Committee which met on August 26, 2026.
9.COMMUNICATION NO. 2026-440
Ryan Underwood, 227 Mammoth Drive, Butte MT requesting Council of Commissioners
authorization to purchase a small portion of County-owned right -of-way land that immediately
adjoins his property at 227 Mammoth Drive. This piece of land is critical to maintaining
functional access to his property.
