Submit for use of NOPEC grant funds in the amount of $14,977.96 for the
following three projects: 1) $4,923.59 doors/sealing ProDoor, 2) $8,752
HVAC updates ChoiceAire, 3) $1,302 electric/lighting upgrades.
4.
Authorize Township Administrator to enter into a 2-year agreement with
DirecTV (switch from Spectrum Business) for the Road Department for cost
savings.
Zoning/Economic Development
Permit fees year-to-date.
As of 10/5/2026: Zoning - $72,672.40
Old Business:
1.
Waffle House reconsidered their project on Tallmadge Road, and it is
currently moving forward again.
2.
The fall edition of our project update report is complete. It will be posted to
social media tomorrow and hard copies are available in the office.
New Business:
1.
Zoning Commission:
• The next Zoning Commission meeting is October 8th at 7:00 pm, and the
agenda and supplemental documents are available on the Township
website. The meeting will mainly cover the many updates needed in the
Zoning Resolution related to data centers.
2.
BZA:
• The BZA will meet on October 14th at 7:00 pm, and the agenda and case
information are available on the Township website. Three residential
appeals will be heard.
Board Approval:
1.
Request Board approval to consider adoption of the following resolution: “A
resolution declaring improvements to certain parcels of real property to be a
public purpose, describing the public improvements to be made to directly
benefit such parcels, requiring the owners of the improvements on such
parcels to make service payments in lieu of taxes, establishing a township
public improvement tax increment equivalent fund for the deposit of such
service payments, and related authorizations pursuant to Ohio Revised Code
Sections 5709.73.-.75.”
Road Department

Dura Patching ongoing in various areas of Township
2. Ditching portion of King Ridge meeting with contractor
3. Completed two culvert pipe jobs 4821 & 4840 Sherman Rd.
4. OPWC round 40 Sanctuary view dr. and Willow Brook DR. paving
project starting on Tue October 6th milling and repairs
New Business:

Completed ditch work at 995 Sunview Drive
2.
Will be on vacation starting 10-16 to 10-26. Point of contact will be Justin
Lashley
Crack sealing work taking place at Cascades Blvd and Maplecrest Pkwy.
