SPARTANBURG COUNTY COUNCIL
PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
SPECIAL MEETING
The Spartanburg County Council Public Safety Committee will hold a Special
Hearing on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in Council
Chambers of the Spartanburg County Administrative Offices located at 366
N. Church Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
This meeting is designed for the Committee to hear information on data
centers and will include a public comment period. Spartanburg County
residents may register to provide beneficial information on data centers for
up to two (2) minutes by emailing your name, address, and phone
number to [email protected] until Wednesday,
September 9th at 12:00 p.m. The first thirty (30) registrants will be
guaranteed an opportunity to speak. Based on time, the committee will
determine whether they will hear from additional speakers beyond the initial
thirty (30) registrants. A sign-up sheet will also be available in Council
Chambers from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
The tentative agenda is provided below. The final agenda will be posted and
available on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
All County offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the
Labor Day holiday.
