A. Discussion on potentially adopting zoning regulations pertaining to Data
Centers
Community Planner, Donny Bunton, will present some options for potentially
regulating Data Centers through the Zoning Ordinance. Currently, this type of
land use (being relatively new) is not specifically addressed by the currently
adopted zoning regulations. Because this type of use typically utilizes high
volumes of water resources and leaves a visual and audible footprint, it is
often met by opposition from the local citizenry.
