As a courtesy to others, please refrain from using cellular telephones or other similar electronic devices in
the Council Chamber.
A maximum of three (3) speakers in favor and three (3) speakers in opposition will be allowed to address
the Council on any one item. Each speaker's comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.
No signs or placards, in support of or in opposition to an item or speaker, shall be permitted within the
Council Chamber.
Any person, whether participating via the web platform, telephonic conferencing or physical presence at
City Hall, interested in making comments or posing questions on matters of public concern or on any item
on the agenda, may do so during the meeting.
Members of the public may address the City Council on any item pertaining to City business during the
Comments and Questions portion of the meeting. A member of the public is limited to one appearance
before the City Council and the speaker's comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.

A.
Report of Scrivener's Error: Pursuant to Section 30-31 - Agenda of City Council Meetings -- of the City of
Hialeah Code, the City Clerk shall correct scrivener's errors that are discovered in ordinances, resolutions,
council minutes and staff reports and promptly report all corrections to the City Council. Section 2 of Resolution
No. 2024-343, passed and adopted on November 12, 2024, was approved as follows: "The City of Hialeah,
Florida hereby accepts the use of SHIP funds in the amount of $500,000.00 FY 23-24 funds to be expended by
June 30 th , 2025, for the construction of the rental development building Metro Grande II located at 2005 W.
Okeechobee Road, Hialeah, FL 33010 which will be administered by the Metro Grande II Associates, Ltd. All
actions needed to accept the use of these SHIP funds are approved. Section 12 is being amended to
reflecting that the funds are to be expended by June 30, 2027.

B.
Report of Scrivener's Error: Pursuant to Section 30-31 - Agenda of City Council Meetings -- of the City of
Hialeah Code, the City Clerk shall correct scrivener's errors that are discovered in ordinances, resolutions,
council minutes and staff reports and promptly report all corrections to the City Council. Resolution No. 2025190, passed and adopted by the City Council on August 26, 2025, is being amended as follows:
Section 3. I. A. (3) was approved as "required documentation (per Section IV below) is submitted" and is
being amended to reflect Section V.
Section 3. II. C. was approved as "For unknown leak claims, a licensed plumber must certify and complete
an affidavit" and is being amended as "known leak claims".
Section 3. III was approved as "Eligibility for Credits for Unknown Leaks Entering Sewer System" and is
being amended as "Eligibility for Credits for Unknown Leaks", thereby removing the language "Entering
Sewer System".

RESO LU TI O N: Proposed resolution approving the final decision of the Planning and Zoning Board,
Decision No. 2025-12 , allowing an interior west side setback of 3.80 feet, where 7.5 feet are required; allow a
rear setback of 9.77 feet, where 20 feet are required for an existing aluminum roof to be legalized; allow a
distance separation of 3.55 feet between 313.2-square-foot metal shed and the main residence, where 10 feet is
the minimum required; and allow a rear setback of 16 feet, where 20 feet are required for an existing aluminum

2. The canvas roof attached to the metal shed must be removed.
3. The existing aluminum roofs must remain open on all sides.
4. The exterior side door for bedroom number 3 must either be removed or changed to a glass door.
5. Bedroom number 3 must be reconfigured to connect to the rest of the home by providing an
interior door that opens onto the main residence.
6. The artificial grass must be removed and replaced with natural grass or another approved
permeable material.
