CALL TO ORDER
WELCOME/INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
BUSINESS:
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Approve minutes of the Mayor and Council Meeting held on September 14, 2026.
2. CITIZEN TIME TO ADDRESS COUNCIL:
Cherie Giles to address Mayor and Council on the “Graffiti Adam’s” Little Free Library location at
the Byron Skate Park.
3. RESOLUTION RATIFICATION:
Consider the ratification of a Resolution pertaining to the Land and Water Conservation Fund
(LWCF) for pickle ball courts at the Byron Skate park.
4. RESOLUTION REGARDING AN AGREEMENT WITH BLUE LINE SOLUTIONS, LLC:
Consider approving a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with Blue Line
Solutions, LLC regarding school zone cameras.
5. ORDINANCE (#2026-7) REGARDING LAND DEVELOPMENT I-1 DISTRICT:
Second reading and consider the adoption of Ordinance (#2026-7) amendments to Article II of
Part IV of Appendix A-Land Development, Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations of the
Municipal Code of Byron, Georgia relating to the I-1 Industrial District.
6. ORDINANCE (#2026-8) REGARDING REZONING:
Second reading and consider the adoption of Ordinance (#2026-8) regarding the rezoning of
Parcel 054D 154 from A-1 Agricultural to I-1 Industrial District.
7. ORDINANCE (#2026-9) REGARDING DATA CENTERS:
Second reading and consider the adoption of Ordinance (#2026-9) amendments to Section 4(a),
Chapter 39 of the Data Center Ordinance.
8. ORDINANCE (#2026-10) REGARDING CHAPTER 3, FEES AND RATES FOR SERVICES:
First reading of Ordinance (#2026-10) regarding Chapter 3, fees and rates for services.
9. 2027 LMIG LIST:
Consider approving the 2027 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant list and construction
estimate.
10. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL:
Consider approving a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Public Works Stormwater Department.
11. GEORGIA POWER QUOTE:
Consider a quote from Georgia Power to supply electric service to 203 Mosely Road.
12. VEHICLES TO GOVDEAL:
Consider placing a Public Works 2014 F-150 on govdeals.
Consider placing a Police 2011 Ford Taurus on govdeals.
