COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR
1. Requesting immediate consideration of an appropriation of $1,820,100.00 from the
Department of Public Works Sewer & Wastewater Treatment Division's
Undesignated Fund Account (6770-359000) to the Blower Sludge HVAC Capital
Project 3143 Account (45440046-58000-3143) to support HVAC and roof repairs for
the sludge building at the Sewer & Wastewater Treatment plant at 149 Neck Road.
2. Appropriation of $2,000,000.00 from Free Cash (1000-359000) to the Fund Balance
Reserve for Expenditures Account (1000-324000) to reduce the FY27 tax rate.
3. Submitting a Resolution to accept a gift donation of $5,486.00 from Sarah Phillipp
and Critical Products, LLC to the Parks and Recreation Department for the purchase
of new field hockey uniforms.
4. Submitting a Resolution to accept gift donations from various donors in the sum of
$4,755.00 to the Parks and Recreation Department Skatepark Gift Account to be used
towards the renovation of the Skatepark.
5. Submitting a Resolution for the acceptance of a gift donation of $512.50 from Aero
Fastener Co., Inc to The Westfield Police Department to be placed in the Community
Police Gift Account to be used for community relations and outreach.

6. City Auditor Vicki Leigh Moro submitting the FY27 Order of Appropriations.
7. City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce submitting the Order for Polling Locations for the 2026
Elections.
8. City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce submitting the Order calling the Early Voting dates, times
and location for the State Primary Election to be held September 1, 2026, and the
General Election to be held November 3, 2026.
9. City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce submitting the Order for the Call of the State Primary
Election to be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

10. City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce submitting a letter requesting the assignment of police
officers at polling locations for 2026 Elections be designated to the Police Chief.

and operate a school bus detection monitoring system on school buses to enforce

(a) Definitions. Residential Complex: delete "more than four separate dwelling

23. Motion of Councilor Figy for an Ordinance Amendment to Chapter 18, Sec. 18-124
(c) Receptacles - General Requirements (5) to amend the fee for additional barrels
