Road. Spencer advised that the Township would continue to look into options
until the issue was resolved. Chmielewski presented Kaczmarek with a birthday

owned by the township, and it is anticipated it will eventually be used to extend
parking. There was no further public comment.
Approval of the agenda: Chmielewski motioned to approve the agenda as
presented. Wirley supported. All ayes. Passed.
Minutes: The minutes were reviewed. Spencer noted that the reference to 1531
being a pumper was incorrect. 1531 is a tanker. The correction was noted.
Jedrzejczyk motioned and Kaczmarek supported to approve the minutes with the
correction. All ayes. Passed.
Appointments: Denise Dunn, whose help at the August election was invaluable,
presented the Board with three questions regarding the proposed cell tower
which the supervisor attempted to answer.
1. Why was there no public hearing? It was not published timely because of
an overdue invoice.
2. Why did the board wait so long to get a legal opinion? Counsel was sought
immediately after the demand letter was received from Galaxi’s counsel.
3. Why wasn’t an extension requested? By the time we had received counsel,
the time to request an extension had already passed.
Dunn thanked the board for answering her questions, but she continues to feel
the board failed the township.
Supervisors report: Spencer noted that the brining was complete.
Treasurer’s report: Kaczmarek reported that accounts payable and payroll for the
month of August was $22,519.66. The checking account holds $46,594.00 while

a BS&A road show he had been made aware that BS&A would be converting all
.net accounts to the cloud in the next 12-18 months. There was discussion on the
underpayment of the Treasurer. Will be discussed under old business. He further

Fire Department: There were 5 runs in July-August. MacCallum reported a new

good used tanker and possibly selling the old one.
The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe provided a grant of $40,000. Towards new
800 MHz radios. They can be purchased used for $105.00 each. Spencer

willing to sponsor a township Halloween party. There was discussion of the status
