Planning Commission will hold a work session on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Board Room at 600 North Main Street
Woodstock, VA 22664. Members of the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors have been invited to participate in the work session
as well. The work session will review the recently approved data center zoning ordinance approved on June 23, summarize questions
and comments received during the ordinance process, and identify priority topics for additional review and potential future
amendment.
The meeting will be open to the public; however, it is a work session of the Planning Commission and Board, and no public comment
will be received. No site-specific application will be considered, and no ordinance amendment will be officially adopted at this meeting.
Community members may submit questions and identify priorities specific to the new ordinance through the County’s online
questionnaire through Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The questionnaire is not a vote, petition, public hearing, or statistically
representative survey. Responses will be summarized and grouped by topic for presentation during the work session.
