Parma Township Planning Commission
Meeting Minutes
Mar 4, 2026, 6:00pm
1. Call to Order — Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Tammy Bates, Chair.
2. Roll Call — Doug Harris, James Slone, Tammy Bates, Scott Penrod, Scott Martin and Brian
Boyer in attendance. All present.
3. Pledge of Allegiance
4. Approval of Minutes — Motion by Scott M, to approve previous minutes of the Feb 4th
Regular Monthly Meeting, second by James S. Voted/approved.
5. Old Business
a. Wind Ordinance — This will be re-scheduled.
b. Community Survey Update — Currently in progress.
c. Master Plan — No update. Kade will come back to our April meeting once the
survey is completed and results are final.
6. New Business
a. Set date for Wind Ordinance Public Hearing - Public Hearing for May 11¢ at
5:45pm.
b. Review CUP for Phantom Magic and set date for Public Hearing - Public Hearing
for April 13" at 5:45pm. A deviation on the setback was recently approved by
the ZBA (grandfathered to reflect current setback distance)
c. Data Centers discussion — Currently under moratorium. We will review the
example from Henrietta Twp and request input from Kyle for further
consideration.
d. Set PC Meeting dates for 2026 — Motion by Doug H. for meetings in 2026 to be
held on the second Monday of every month at 6:00pm. Second by Scott P.
Voted/approved.
a. Election of PC Officers for 2026 — Short discussion. Motion by James S. to keep
all positions the same for 2026. Second by Doug H. Voted/approved.
7. Public Comment — none.
8. Next Meeting — April 13, 2026 at 6:00pm. Public Meeting immediately prior at 5:45pm
for Phantom Magic CUP.
9, Adjournment — Meeting adjourned at 6:33pm.
