items of business before the Board of County Commissioners on August 18, 2026, will be fully completed on that

Public Comment during the Commission Meeting on August 18, 2026, will be for all matters off the agenda, and be limited
to up to three minutes per person. Additionally, public comment of up to three minutes per person may be heard during
individual action items. The Commission reserves the right to reduce the time allowed for public comment. The Commission
may prohibit comment if the content of the comments is a topic that is not relevant to, or within the authority of, the
Commission, or if the content of the comments is willfully disruptive of the meeting by being irrelevant, repetitious,
slanderous, offensive, inflammatory, irrational or amounting to personal attacks or interfering with the rights of other
speakers. Persons are invited to submit comments in writing on the agenda items and/or attend and make comment on that
item at the Commission meeting. Decorum during the meeting must be upheld pursuant to the BOCC Rules of Procedure

stamping of feet, whistling, using profane language, yelling, and similar demonstrations, which conduct disturbs the peace
and good order of the meeting. Any person who becomes disruptive or interferes with the orderly business of the Board may
be removed from the Board Chambers or other meeting room for the remainder of the meeting.

owner, to repair, abate or remove the public nuisance;
c. If the public nuisance is not abated within the time period designated, direct staff to utilize the
abatement procedures to abate the hazard by removing or causing the removal of the hazardous
conditions;
d. Establish a funding source to pay for the abatement; and

a. Request the County Clerk to conduct a Special Election, for the purpose of submitting to the voters
a ballot question regarding Data Centers in Nevada Hydrographic Basin 162 pursuant to Nevada
Revised Statutes Chapter 293; and
b. Discuss the financial impact to conduct a special election and possible funding source.

a. Appoint one member to the Round Mountain Town Board to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term

a. The addition of a second "Communications Systems Supervisor" position for a period of up to one
year for the purposes of new employee cross training and getting them up to speed as much as
possible before he/she assumes the permanent position of filling the vacancy to be created as of
March 30, 2027 due to Tim White's retirement; and
b. Fund from 10213 Emergency Systems.
PLANNING/BUILDING/CODE COMPLIANCE
22. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding a request to set a date, time and location
for a Public Hearing on Nye County Bill No. 2026-14: A Bill proposing to amend Chapter 17.10 of the
Nye County Code to establish land use regulations, special use permit requirements, and development
standards for Data Centers and related infrastructure by amending Section 17.10.010: Definitions,
Section 17.10.020: Purpose and Intent, Section 17.10.050: Requirement to obtain a special use permit;
and by adding a new Section 17.10.055: Data Center special use permit requirements; and providing
for the severability, constitutionality, and effective date thereof; and other matters properly relating
thereto.
PUBLIC WORKS
23. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation to approve the 2026 Airport Master Plan and Airport
Layout Plan for the Beatty Airport.
