Culley, Jr.</em></p><p><em>County Administrator</em></p><p> <strong>JANUARY 27<sup>TH</sup> BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING CANCELED</strong></p><p><strong>AGENDA ITEMS AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUED TO FEBRUARY 10<sup>TH</sup> </strong></p><p><em> </em>At the direction of Chairman Clayton T. “Clay” Forehand, the Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for January 27, 2026 has been canceled due to the inclement weather. </p><p> Under Section 2-1 H. (When and Where Regular Meetings Held) of the 2026 By-Laws and Rules of Procedure adopted by the Board of Supervisors at its January 13, 2026 organizational meeting:</p><p> <em>H. If weather or other conditions are such that it is determined by the Chairperson that it may be hazardous for Board members or the public to attend a scheduled meeting or work session, that meeting shall be automatically continued to the next scheduled regular meeting of the Board. Such determination shall be communicated to the other Board members and the press as promptly as possible. All hearings and other matters previously advertised shall be conducted at the continued meeting.</em></p><p> <strong><u>All items included on the January 27<sup>th</sup> meeting agenda will be taken up at the February 10, 2026 Board of Supervisors meeting, which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Services Center.</u></strong></p><p> Questions regarding the postponement should be directed to County Administrator Charles Culley at (804) 633-5380.</p><p> </p><p> # # #</p>
