information about their ancestors with the last name of Ledden or Ladden residents in
the 1800s after the meeting was over. Joe Eisch had no comment.

Roads, Bldgs, and Equipment:
Concrete driveways abutting town roads: No action taken.
Hill Road: Mark T. shared he is replacing culverts (4), one may get bridge aid but funding
may not be until 2028.
Small structure grant: No funding was awarded for the Lakeshore Drive structure south
of Mud Creek, but the town may get half back via a bridge aid application subject to
approval. This Lakeshore Drive structure is preferred for bridge aid vs other projects
and at this point the timeframe has not been determined for a three-day road closure
required for installation. G&H quoted approximately $100,000.00 with additional
patching. Joe indicated that Mark should go ahead with doing this structure on
Lakeshore Drive. Mark would like to eradicate wild parsnip in ditches before children
play in a ditch and come into contact with the plant that causes blisters. Board
members endorsed going ahead and inquiring about a plan and costs.
Lakeshore Drive speed limit: Joe reported 3 incidences of personal safety occurring on
the road since Hwy 55’s detour. After general discussion, Joe moved to lower the speed
limit to 45 MPH on Lakeshore Drive from Hwy EE to Ecker Lakeland Drive until October
31, 2026. Mark E. 2nd M/C.
