Approval of June Town Board and Public Hearing Minutes. Didier moved to approve the
June Town Board Minutes, and Public Hearing Minutes, seconded by Schlenvogt. The
motion carried 2-0.
Public Comments: None
Reports:
Chairman Didier reported on a recent ride-along session conducted with the Ozaukee County
Sheriff's Department. The activity provided insight into the department's current patrol
responsibilities, operational duties, and ongoing law enforcement efforts within the township.
2) Didier attended a Wisconsin Towns Association seminar hosted along with the League of
Wisconsin Municipalities and Wisconsin County’s Associaiotn regarding consolidation. It was
very informative on how municipalities are combining services.
Town Treasurer report: The town's Money Market balance is $843,790.82, the checking account
balance is $7,848.28, and the small business/tax balance is $20.92. The Town received the
2026 Fire Dues in the amount of $13,094.01 which will be sent to the City of Port Washington
Fire Department.
Town Clerk report: 1) Memories turned in all the appropriate paperwork for the Liquor License
that was approved last month, the license has been issued. 2) The Wisconsin Election
Commission is offering a Security Grant up to $2,000. Krueger will be applying for this to
possibly use towards a new desktop for the town.
Discussion and possible action to approve an Operator License for Chloe Theis, to serve at the
Shipyard Bar. Didier moved to approve an Operator License for Chloe Theis, seconded by
Schlenvogt. Motion approved 2-0.
Consideration and possible action to consider a Conditional Use Permit Application for the
Clausing farm, 4290 County Road LL, Port Washington, for construction of a second single

Hearing was held prior to this meeting. Per Didier, this was recommended by the Plan

Discussion on the Tow of Port Washington Comprehensive Plan Amendment to create a new
Mixed General Agriculture/Conservation Subdivision Planning Area. Per Didier, The Town is
considering a change to its Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Plan map to create a new Mixed
General Agriculture/Conservation Subdivision land use designation. Properties in the area
proposed for this land use designation are currently not allowed to divide their parcels to create
parcels of less than 35 acres unless they create a conservation subdivision. The new land use
designation would allow property owners in the proposed area to rezone their property from the
more restrictive A-1 exclusive agriculture zoning to A-2 general agriculture zoning and divide
their property into parcels as small as 5 acres. This would provide more flexibility for small or
hobby farms or selling a parcel to a family member. No property owner will be required to
rezone or divide their property; this change merely allows property owners the option to do so.

Discussion and possible action on the supplemental agreement to the Boarder Agreement as it
relates to sewer and water to Knellsville, timelines and logistics. Per the City of Port
Washington, the Public Service approval probably won’t be approved until at least December of
2026. Amending the Supplemental Border Agreement is necessary to prevent a breach of
contract regarding the Knellsville sewer and water extension. Because Public Service
Commission approvals are delayed until at least December 2026, amending the timeline aligns
legal obligations with achievable infrastructure milestone.
The City of Port Washington and the Town of Port Washington operate under an amended
Settlement Agreement (originally established in 2004). This agreement outlines the extension of
utility services to the Knellsville area, which is intricately tied to the broader infrastructure
developments and annexation for the Vantage Data Centers campus.
The original timeline mandated that sewer, and water services commence in 2026. However,
facing extended regulatory approvals and necessary coordination, the municipality requires an
amendment to extend the deadline and avoid technical contract defaults.
Update on information from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation on proper speed limit
for Weiler’s Way and Lilac Ln. Didier has been in contact with The WI DOT regarding the proper
speed limits on these roads, they stated the traffic engineer states we did not have enough
information for speed study, but we can still do it inhouse. Didier will contact the Ozaukee
County Superintendent to get a study set up, to acquire the data. Didier is not convinced there
are any speed issues on these roads.
Monthly Bills: Schlenvogt moved to approve the June bills in the amount of $22,298.58,
seconded by Didier. The motion 2-0.
Didier adjourned the July Town Board meeting at 7:30 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Heather Krueger,
Clerk
